FX is closing the lid on the vampires’ coffins.
The cable out let has announced that the forthcoming sixth season of the vampire comedy What We Do In The Shadows will be its last. The show recently finished airing its fifth season. The series premiered in March 2019.
What We Do In The Shadows is a spinoff from the 2014 movie of the same name from writers Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement. Set on Staten Island, it focuses on a quartet of vampires – Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Kayvan Novak and Mark Proksch – who while they never age, have not managed to keep up with the ever changing world outside their mansion. They are attended by their human familiar, played by Harvey Guillén, who often has to clean up the messes they make around the house and when they head outside into the neighborhood.
