Phoebe Waller-Bridge

If adventure has a name, it must be… Phoebe Waller-Bridge?

The multi-hyphenate writer-director-actor behind Amazon’s Fleabag and Hulu’s Killing Eve has been cast in the upcoming Indiana Jones 5. There is no word as to who her character is owhat part in the story she will play, the role is being described as a “co-lead.”

Of course, this is not the first time Waller-Bridge has entered into a Lucasfilm universe. The actress also provided the voice and motion capture performance for Lando Calrissian’s robotic partner L3-37 in 2018’s Solo: A Star Wars Story.

In addition to her recent award winning television work, Waller-Bridge has also worked on the upcoming James Bond film No Time To Die sharing a co-screenwriting credit.

Set to start filming in June, Indiana Jones 5 sees Harrison Ford returning for one last outing as the adventuring archaeologist. Stepping into the director’s position is James Mangold, while franchise director Steven Spielberg remains as an executive producer.
