The Four Horsemen are on their way back to the big screen.
The Hollywood Reporter is stating that Lionsgate has brought on Top Gun: Maverick co-screenwriter Eric Warren Singer to write a third installment of their heist-thriller franchise Now You See Me.
Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Dave Franco starred in the 2013 original film about four illusionists and conmen who team up to pull off a number of high profile heists. Mark Ruffalo and Morgan Freeman also starred. All but Fisher returned for the 2016 sequel No You See Me 2 so Lizzy Caplan, with a new character, stepped into Fisher’s position on the team of magicians for the sequel. No cast has been approached for returning for this threepeat.
Both films have pulled in a total of $687 million at the worldwide box office.
