Producers Guild Award Nominees Preview Oscar Race

The Producers Guild of America announced the ten nominated feature films in contention for their annual awards.

Given that the winner of the PGA award goes on to win the Academy Award’s Best Picture Oscar, this is one of the key guild awards to be watching. The PGA Awards have successfully predicted an Oscar win 21 out of the last 30 years. The PGA employs a preferential balloting system that’s similar to that used by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The Producers Guild of America Awards will be announced and presented on January 18.
