What better way to round out the current Jurassic World trilogy then by bringing back the three actors who were at the start of the original Jurassic Park trilogy? Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern are all set to costar alongside Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard when cameras roll on Jurassic World 3 early next year.
The announcement came following a screening of the recently released Jurassic World: Battle At Big Rock eight-minute short film at which Dern appeared and broke the news to the crowd in attendance. Directed by Jurassic World and Jurassic World 3 director and co-writer Collin Trevorrow, Battle At Big Rock shows how the world copes with the changes wrought after the genetically revived dinosaurs of Jurassic Park escape out off their island and out in to the greater world at large following the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
In addition to headlining the original Jurassic Park in 1993, Dern and Neill returned to the franchise for 2001’s Jurassic Park III while Goldblum revived his character for 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park and last year’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
