Haley Atwill has accepted a new mission – a role in the next Mission: Impossible film.
The former Marvel Cinematic Universe actress will be joining franchise star Tom Cruise and writer/director Christopher McQuarrie when the film goes into production early next year.
McQuarrie made the announcement of Atwell’s casting via Instagram –
Atwell responded in kind.
McQaurrie is currently prepping to shoot the next two Mission: Impossible films back-to-back, so it is not readily apparent if Atwill has been cast in one or both films. The films are set for release on July 23, 2021 and August 5, 2022.
Although the franchise originally featured a rotating director for each film, these next two films under McQuarrie mark the writer’s third and fourth installments for the series.
