James Bond may be seeing a familiar face in the upcoming next installment of the long-running franchise.
Spoilers from her on out for the currently in-production twenty-fifth film in the James Bond Franchise.
Variety is reporting from anonymous sources close to the production of the film that Christoph Waltz is returning to the franchise to once again play Bond’s arch-nemesis, Blofeld.
This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise given that Waltz’s character was still alive at the end of the previous film, 2014’s Spectre, and that the franchise has been sporting some pretty tight continuity between films since its 2006 reboot which introduced Daniel Craig as the iconic British secret agent with a license to kill.
In addition to obviously Craig, other returning franchise cast members for Bond 25 include Ralph Fiennes, Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris.
As usual, franchise producers Eon Productions have not commented on the story.
