Birds Of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn), the DC Comics adaptation that will see Margot Robbie’s Suicide Squad character of Harley Quinn teaming up with some of DC’s super-heroines, just started filming last week, and to celebrate that fact they have released a few first looks at some of the characters.
Early this morning, Robbie posted the first look at what at least one of her costumes will look like in the film. It is a bit different from her “Daddy’s L’il Monster” costume that she wore in Suicide Squad. In fact, it seems a bit more flashy and outrageous, which might even suggest a shift in her temperament, not surprising given the film’s full title.
Almost simultaneously, this video debuted over on YouTube, offering us some quick glimpses of Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Rosie Perez as Gotham City’s Detective Renee Montoya, Ella Jay Basco, Ewan McGregor as the villainous Black Mask, and Chris Messina as serial killer Victor Zsasz
Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation Oof One Harley Quinn) is scheduled to land in theaters on February 7, 2020.
