If you know Hugh Jackman only for playing Wolverine in the X-Men films, then you might not know him as a singer. If you watch other movies that do not have superheroes in them, you’re probably screaming at the screen now “Of course, he can sing! He was in Les Miserables and The Greatest Showman!”
As a matter of fact, Jackman got his start in musical theater, and the Aussie star is set to return there next year. Jackman has announced that he will be embarking on a 31 city, 34 show world tour which starts in Hamburg, Germany on May 13, 2019 and ends in Los Angeles, California on July 20, 2019.

As to what to expect from the tour, expect a trip down memory lane for Jackman, as the set list will be composed of songs pulled from his resume, including selections from Oklahoma! (the show was working on before he was cast as Wolverine), The Boy From Oz (the musical based on the life of Peter Allen which starred Jackman and ran on Broadway from 2003 to 2004), Les Miserables and The Greatest Showman. His co-star from that latter film, Keala Settle, will join him on tour as a special guest.
If you want a sneak peak of the tour, tune into Today on December 4th. Jackman will be singing selections from his tour in the court of the Today studios.
