Sophia Bush, Jonathan Banks and Isabella Rossellini have joined the voice cast of Pixar’s upcoming Incredibles 2. The trio are joining returning voice cast members Craig T Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L Jackson and Sarah Vowell as well as already announced newcomers Bob Odenkirk and Catherine Keener.
The new film will focus on the further adventures of the super-powered Parr family. As they try to adjust to new family member, baby Jack-Jack, mom Helen/Elastigirl (Hunt) steps to forefront as a hero while Bob/Mr. Incredible (Nelson) becomes a stay at home dad.
Bush will be voicing Voyd, an aspiring superhero who has the power to teleport objects by creating voids that they move through. Banks will be playing a government functionary in the Super Relocation Program who helps superheroes keep their identities secret, while Rossellini will be a foreign ambassador who working for the legalization of superheroes.
As part of the announcement, Disney released some character sketches of the cast.
