Sarah Paulson is joining the cast of M Night Shyamalan’s next thriller Glass. The writer/director made the announcement via twitter today.
Incredibly fortunate to round out our iconic cast of actors on #Glass… @MsSarahPaulson will be joining us. #powerhouse

Paulson will be joining James McAvoy, Anya Taylor-Joy, Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson.
The film is a sequel to the director’s 2000 hit Unbreakable as well as this year’s Split. Shyamalan had successfully concealed the connection between the two films right up to Split‘s opening weekend.
Shyamalan has been making mentions of Glass on twitter periodically. Usually, they are just updates on the writing process of the screenplay or small observations he has about the work.
Writing draft 4 of #Glass. Had many epiphanies about where I showed disdain for characters by not asking who they were outside of this plot.

Finished draft 4 of #Glass. Overwhelmed by the beauty of writing for characters & having them lead you back to plot(the structure of story).

Finished pass 5 on #Glass. Was a maniac writing 24/7. Love these characters. Hopefully you will feel that.

And then there are the times when he tweets out a maddening tease about the project like this –
