Like DODGEBALL: A TRUE UNDERDOG STORY? Have We Got Something To Tell You.

Are you a big fan of Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story? Do you often wish you could have played in the climactic Dodgeball game at the end of the movie? Well, you are in luck.

Take it away, White Goodman:

If you were not in a clicking mood, what the video says is that Ben Stiller is partnering with charity site Omaze to offer fans the “Most Epic Game of Dodgeball Ever.” Winners and a guest will be flown to New York City and put up in a four-star hotel. Then they will choose to join either the Globo Gym Purple Cobras or the Average Joe’s in a rematch of their dodgeball match at the end of the film. If that video is any indication, if you team with Globo Gym, you’ll be playing with Stiller, Missi Pyle, Jamal Duff, and Brandon Molale–and presumably in character as their characters from the film. If you pick Average Joe’s, then you’ll be teaming with Vince Vaughn, Christine Taylor and Justin Long–all as their characters from the film. After the match, Stiller will take the contest winners our for pizza.

Yes, if that is indeed correct, if you win the contest, you will get the chance to co-star in the meta, interactive, real-life, 4-D sequel to Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. And if they don’t show up in character? Then you get to play dodgeball with a group of comedy legends and support a good cause.

The cause is Stiller’s own Stiller Foundation. The Foundations mission statement listed on the site is this:

Ben Stiller founded the Stiller Foundation in 2010 with the mission to support children around the world by providing educational opportunities to help them realize their full potential. To date, the Stiller Foundation has focused primarily on improving educational opportunities for children in Haiti by rebuilding schools in the wake of the January 2010 earthquake. Their work includes supporting the construction of the Academy for Peace and Justice, a free middle and secondary school in Port Au Prince which educates and supports 2,800 children. Every student at the Academy receives a scholarship that includes full tuition, uniforms, and year round access to St. Luke’s medical services.

You do not have to make a donation to be entered to win–you get 10 entries by just providing your e-mail address. However, your donation gives you more entries to win. Donating more gives you additional entries and unlocks exclusive merchandise. The merchandise gifts begin with your $25 donation, and range from a video thank you all the way up to a custom Rodney Mullen Skateboard signed Mullen and Stiller at the $5,000 level. You also have the chance to earned signed scripts, T-shirts, and a print of the painting Goodman wrestling a bull that appears in the film.

The contest will go on for 54 more days and you can enter here. If Dodgeball is not your speed, you can also enter to win lunch and an Avengers set visit with Robert Downey, Jr. to benefit Random Act Funding or a meet and greet with the cast of War for the Planet of the Apes at an exclusive cast and crew screening to benefit the Jane Goodall Institute.
