As you might have heard, David Harbour is our new Hellboy. Harbour is also one of the more active actors on social media. Together, this means that we the people will get a unique glimpse at the journey Harbour is taking in preparations for his biggest role ever.
The actor’s lead up to the role has already begun. First order of business: making peace with the guy who had the role before him, with a détente brokered by Patton Oswalt:

Oswalt, being the savvy showbiz veteran he is, is thinking of a side project:

…where pre-production on Hellboy: The Rise of the Blood Queen truly began as Harbour got fitted for one of the most important parts of the Hellboy mythos, The Right Hand of Doom:
It’s at this point that I have to say that while I have never met Mr. Harbour, my wife’s family is friendly with his family. I hope they never find out about my stalking of David on social media for the FBOL, because that might raise an awkward situation.
Hellboy: The Rise of the Blood Queen is at Millennium. We don’t know as of yet as when filming will begin or a release date, but we’ll let you know when we find out.
