Benedict Cumberbatch will be The Man In The Rockefeller Suit.
Deadline is reporting that the Sherlock star is in early negotiations to star in the real life story of a conman who rose to some prominence on Wall Street by passing himself off as a member of the famous and wealthy Rockefeller clan. The film is based on a book by Mark Seal and David Bar Katz’s screenplay landed on 2014’s Black List.
The film is reportedly a priority for Fox Searchlight Pictures. Although Argentinian director Pablo Trapero (The Clan) was attached to the film at one point, the studio is now looking for a newh elmer to take over the picture and get it into production as soon as possible.
