It’s been a while since we’ve seen something new from Edgar Wright. His last film was 2013’s The World’s End and since then he was sidelined for a while working on his version of Ant-Man before he and Marvel parted ways prior to production. But that Wright-less movie draught is over as the director unveiled his latest film, Baby Driver, at the South By Southwest Festival in Austin last night. For those of us not lucky enough to attend the premier, the first trailer for the film has been released to give us all a taste.

Ever since his debut film, 2004’s Shaun Of The Dead, Wright has displayed an affinity of using music with his bisuals, and this trailer suggests that won’t be any different here in this story of a young getaway driver named Baby (Ansel Elgort) and his attempt to get free from the mob he works for.
The film also stars Lily James, Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, Elsa Gonzalez, Jon Bernthal and Kevin Spacey and opens August 11.
