…The Last Jedi
No, it’s not “Space Bear” like director Rian Johnson promise. But it’s not “Electric Boogaloo” either.
On one hand, the title makes sense. Because, well, we are talking about the Jedi. But who is the last Jedi? Is it Luke, who was the last living Jedi when The Force Awakens rolled around? Or is it Rey, who closed the last film reaching out to Luke for training? If it’s the latter, what does this say about Rey’s fate in the franchise (because if she’s not dead, she could train more Jedis so she wouldn’t have to be the last one).
The questions will start to be answered when Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
