1. Incarnate (HighTop Releasing, 1,737 Theaters, 91 Minutes, Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of horror violence, terror, disturbing images, brief strong language, sensuality and thematic elements, Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer at press time: N/A [only 6 reviews posted, 2 positive 4 negative): Your young son is possessed by a powerful demon. Neither a young priest nor an old priest can help him. What do you do? WHAT DO YOU DO?
What you do is call Dr. Seth Ember (Aaron Eckhart). Ember is not your ordinary exorcist. He actually enters the mind of the possessed and kicks the demon out. It has a long line of success…until now.
This is a unique take on the possession horror genre, albeit one that begs some questions (like, how does Ember remove the demon? Ask him nicely to leave? Roust him out physically? Serve him an eviction notice?). The film is co-produced by WWE Films, so you know a wrestler will be in here somewhere. Hint: Think the world’s strongest man.
