After his appearance in Captain America: Civil War earlier this year, fans were eager to see more of Tom Holland and his interpretation of Peter Parker, aka the spectacular Spider-Man. We know that he’ll be appearing in this coming summer’s Spider-Man: Homecoming hitting theaters July 7. In a new interview in the Hollywood Reporter, Holland reveals that he is contracted for a total of six cinematic appearances in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe.
They give you options and those could be exercised whenever. Like a cameo in Avengers… I’m unclear as to which movies though. I do know I have three Spider-Man [appearances in other] movies and three solo movies contracted.
Since one of those three appearances outside of his contracted solo Spider-Man films was his debut in Civil War, where can we expect to see Holland’s other two appearances? Most like they will come in the upcoming two Avengers films – Avengers: Infinity War in 2018 and the untitled Avengers 4 in 2019. Marvel has been fairly coy about which characters will show up in the two team-up films, but since those films are being seen as the culmination of almost a decade’s worth of growing plotlines across their films, it is pretty much assumed that every superhero who has appeared in those films will be showing up.
