Marwan Kenzari has just been added to the all-star cast of 20th Century Fox’s Murder On The Orient Express.
Kenneth Branagh will be directing this latest adaptation of the classic Agatha Christie whodunit. The studio already has Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Johnny Depp, Michael Pena, Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr. and Judi Dench lined-up for the cast. Kenzari has a role in next year’s The Mummy, the first installment in Universal’s Monsters frnchise which will feature his Orient Express co-star Depp in the title role in the Invisible Man installment.
Kenzari is set to play the French conductor of the titular luxury train which sees famed Belgian detective Hercule Peroit (Branagh stepping in front of the camera) solving the killing of a wealthy passenger.
In addition to The Mummy, Kenzari has appeared or will appear in a number of high profile films lately including this past summer’s Ben-Hur and The Promise with Christian Bale and Oscar Isaac which premiered recently at the Toronto Film Festival.
