Do you love Stan Lee cameos in Marvel films but are afraid he might be too old to do them in the future? Well, relax. He’s going to be in at least four more Marvel Cinematic Universe films down the line.
Collider reports that Kevin Feige confirmed Lee has filmed four cameos for future Marvel movies. All were shot in one day a couple of months ago at Marvel’s filming location in Atlanta.
The question is, which films were they for? Collider thinks that the four films are Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Thor: Ragnarok. Doctor Strange wrapped back in April and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 wrapped in June. With green screen technologies, the cameos could be put in those films retroactively. Spider-Man: Homecoming is currently filming, having started back in June. Thor: Ragnarok started filming in July…in Australia. Once again, green screen could be called upon to have him interact with that film’s cast.
Still, I can’t see them not having him have a cameo in Black Panther, a character he co-created. That film doesn’t start filming until early next year, and you’d think they’d want to get Lee’s cameo out of the way for that film before anything unforeseen happens.
Anyway, we will find out the fruits of Lee’s efforts in the year or so.
