For all you Cyborg fans out there who can’t bear the three years between his appearance in Justice League in 2017 and his stand alone film in 2020, well, you’re in luck. Rumor has it that he will be appearing in 2018’s The Flash.
Sources tell Variety that Ray Fisher will appear in some way or form in that Scarlet Speedster’s stand alone film. The site states this falls in line with Warners wanting to sell their combined DC Extended Universe to fans. Duh.
No word on how big a presence Cyborg will be. The two didn’t really have much interaction in the comics (Cyborg was friends with The Flash’s protégé, Kid Flash, when they were both members of the Teen Titans, but he has no similar connection to the Barry Allen Flash) so it remains to be seen what would bring the two together on film.
