Jennifer Lawrence may be joining Sandra Bullock in pulling off a stylish robbery. The Tracking Board is reporting that the X-Men and Hunger Games franchise actress is in talks with Warner Brothers for a role in Sandra Bullocks’ Ocean’s Eleven film.

According to Tracking Board –

Sources reveal that the story, which is expected to be a continuation of the mega-successful George Clooney-led trilogy, centers around Bullock’s character, who plays an ex-con and Danny Ocean’s sister. With a team of thieves, she sets out of steal a necklace from the Met Ball and frame a crooked gallery owner. Lawrence is being considered for the role of Bullock’s right-hand woman.

This story synopsis does line up with our speculation from last October when news of the project first started to become known. It was stated that Ocean’s trilogy star Clooney could make a cameo appearance in this new film, leading us to ponder if Bullock’s character was a relative of Clooney’s Danny Ocean. With Lawrence as Bullock’s “right-hand woman,” she steps into the role Brad Pitt played in the original Ocean’s trilogy.

This new Ocean’s Eleven is set to be directed by Hunger Games writer-director Gary Ross. As his Civil War epic Free State Of Jones starring Matthew McConaughey is hitting theaters June 24, Ross is beginning to turn his attentions to this new film. With production scheduled to start later this fall, expect lot more casting announcements through the summer months for what should be a great ensemble piece for showcasing female actors.
