Last week, writer/director Kevin Smith stated that the Motion Picture Association of America had given his upcoming comedy Yoga Hosers an R-rating, although he specifically made the film with a PG-13 rating in mind. This is not the first time that Smith had disagreed with a decision from the MPAA’s ratings board about one of his films and he announced his intentions to appeal their decision.
Turns out he doesn’t have to.
Earlier today, Smith announced via Facebook that the MPAA had already reversed the R-rating decree on their own and after re-evaluation have given the film the PG-13 he thought it deserved. We’ll let Smith tell the story –
