Channing Tatum is joining the cast of the The Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The actor broke the news himself on Twitter.

The Golden Circle is set to start shooting soon. Tatum was supposed to be currently shooting the X-Men spinoff Gambit, but that production was pushed back to near the end of the year as the script is now undergoing revisions from Reid Carolin. Stepping into The Golden Circle fills the hole i the actors’ schedule created by that move.
Like some of the rest of the new casting for the new film, we don’t know exactly what type of character Tatum will be playing. But we do know that he will be joining a cast of Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Julianne Moore, Halle Berry and Elton John in the sequel to 2014’s surprise hit action comedy The Kingsman.
No release date for The Kingsman: The Golden Circle has been announced yet.
