Retraction: Jerry Marin Not Dead

The internet is certainly no stranger to false death reports, and last night, we inadvertently repeated one of those reports when we posted that Jerry Maren, the last surviving cast member from The Wizard Of Oz had passed away. However, in the clear late of the next day, it is being made known that he is still very much alive.

Sometimes in the rush to get news reported, everyone depends on the same erroneous report that started the cycle of rumor. We made that mistake last night and we apologize to Mr. Maren, his family, friends and fans for that mistake.

In our own defense, this is the first time that I have had to write a retraction like this and hopefully, it will be the last.
