The sequel to the Keanu Reeves surprise hit action film John Wick has been set. Expect to see John Wick: Chapter Two on screens on February 10th, 2017.
In addition to the returning Reeves, John Leguizamo, Ian McShane, Bridget Moynihan and Lance Reddick will also be reprising their roles from the first film. Ruby Rose, Laurence Fishburne, Peter Stormare and Common are all new additions to the cast for the sequel which will see Chad Stahelski directing and original writer Derek Kolstad once again contributing the screenplay.
The film looks as if it moving its action across the ocean to Europe for this installment.

The winter date, along with the January 2018 date for Blade Runner 2 also announced earlier today, certainly suggests that studios are looking to see if they can replicate the success that the R-rated Deadpool had at the box office last week in what is normally a rather barren time at the box office for action and genre related fare.
