Netflix’s December Adds Including Classics And Awards Contenders

Darkman-1

It’s the end of the month, so it’s time to take a look at the films that will start becoming available on Netflix’s streaming service.

Right at the start of the month are a couple of recommendable titles including two-time Oscar winner Ray, the 1999 thriller Stir Of Echoes with Kevin Bacon and Sam Raimi’s superhero by way of gothic horror Darkman. Starting on the second of the month, you can check out director Sean Baker’s Tangerine, which earned three Independent Spirit Awards nominations yesterday including Best Picture and Director. Other cinematic notables hitting the service include The Da Vinci Code on the 14th and director Alex Ross Perry’s Queen Of Earth starring Elisabeth Moss and Katherine Waterston on the 22nd.

As for what’s leaving Netflix next month, there are a number of classics that will be no longer available for streaming starting December 1. So if you’ve been wanting to watch, or re-watch, All About Eve, The Great Escape, The Omen or Silence Of The Lambs among others, you better get to it this coming weekend.
