The Wrap is reporting that Transparent actress Amy Landecker has been cast in the currently filming Doctor Strange movie. Marvel is being mum on what role she is going to play.
Landecker has been a regular on TV shows such as Louie, The Paul Reiser Show, and Revenge and has appeared on the big screen in films such as Enough Said, Dan In Real Life, Project Almanac, and A Serious Man, which also starred Doctor Strange’s Michael Stuhlbarg.
Being that she is cast after filming has begun and she really isn’t a big enough star in my opinion means that Landecker is probably playing a supporting character of some sort. Odds are she won’t be Stephen Strange’s extradimesional love Clea. There;s a better shot at her maybe being Dormammu’s sister Umar, but more than likely she will probably be a co-worker at the hospital Strange is affiliated with in the film.
