Ellen Page may be taking on some dangerous medical experiments as the actress is in talks to star in a remake of the 1990 science-fiction thriller Flatliners.
Director of the original Swedish version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Niels Arden Oplev, is already signed to tell the story of a group of med students who experiment on each by inducing themselves into states of near death to find out what may lie beyond. Unfortunately, when they come back from the boarder between life and death they may not be coming back alone.
Ben Ripley, who wrote the vastly underrated Jake Gyllenhaal thriller Source Code, is scripting.v
