Even if you haven’t read the comic book event series that the film is (loosely) based on, you probably know that Captain America: Civil War will feature a clash between the titular superhero and Iron Man, with a majority of the other heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe choosing up sides. We’ve had some hints as to who made side with whom – i.e., that end credits scene in Ant-Man – but it wasn’t until today where we learn who will fall in behind Cap and Iron Man as things come to a head. Jeremy Renner, Hawkeye himself, took to twitter to break the news.

As you can see, Cap (Chris Evans) is joined by Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Red Wing, Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Sharon Carter (Emily Van Camp) and Hawkeye (Renner) while Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) has Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Vison (Paul Bettany) backing him. Hate to say it, but Cap looks to be the underdog in this match up if you’re going on straight up power levels. Of course, we still don’t know who Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) or Spider-Man (Tom Holland) will side with, so that disparity could change.
Captain America: Civil War opens May 6, 2016.
