Two weeks back when Ghostbusters director Paul Feig tweeted out pictures of the new version of the iconic Ghostbusters jumpsuits and proton packs from his remake of the classic comedy, I wondered if someone was going to have a replica ready in time to cosplay at San Diego Comic Con this coming week. Well, if you are frantically trying to finish off your costume for the show, Feig wants to give you some help.
Yesterday evening, Feig tweeted out some pictures and specs for the new proton packs as well as dispensed advice about the straps that go on the packs.
I have to give credit to Feig here. He knew going into this film that there would be a sizable sector of fandom that would not be interested in seeing his vision of a Ghostbusters movie. But he has been pretty active in engaging with fandom about the film in a fun and positive way.
Basically just orange backpack straps with gray trim. I don't have much more info than that at the moment. Low-tech. https://t.co/SnGrhzI5wr

Close enough. Ours have grey trim on the outer edges but orange is the key. Tech it down, though, so not so new. https://t.co/53DlaS3dpq
