Even though production is already underway in Atlanta, Captain America: Civil War is still adding to its cast. The threequel’s latest addition is Emily VanCamp, who will be returning to reprise her Captain America: The Winter Soldier role of Agent 13.
VanCamp joins Chris Evans (Steve Rogers), Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Daniel Bruhl (Baron von Zemo), Martin Freeman in a role to be determined and an actor whom has yet to be named as Spider-Man.
In Winter Soldier, VanCamp’s Agent 13 posed as Stave Rogers/Captain America’s neighbor under the orders of SHIELD director Mick Fury to keep an eye on and protect the superhero. In the comics, Agent 13 is an alias of Sharon Carter, niece of Peggy Carter and sometimes love interest for Steve Rogers, though the movies haven’t revealed the real name of their Agent 13.
