Seth MacFarlane’s sequel to his 2012 hit talking teddy bear comedy Ted will start filming tomorrow. The Family Guy creator made the announcement via his twitter feed, promising that the new film will not be a rehash of the first.
Filming for Ted 2 begins Monday! Don't worry– it ain't the same movie twice.

Of course, that lead to some wags cracking wise about that promise, which MacFarlane promptly answered.
RT @Vadwalas: @SethMacFarlane can you make it funny and yet family friendly? // No. Go watch HOP.

While Ted was a big hit for MacFarlane making over $549 million at the global box office, the director did have a stumble with this summer’s western comedy A Million Ways To Die In The West, which underperformed at the box office bringing in $84 million worldwide.
Ted 2 is set for a June 26, 2015 release.
