Last evening, when reporting on how Marvel Studio is going to be going “radio silent” in their quest to find a new director for their Ant-Man film nearly two weeks now after Edgar Wright left the project, I commented that the situation was very fluid and could change at any moment. Well, this morning we are waking to new news on the search.
Collider is reporting “on very good authority” that reports that Neighbors director Nicholas Stoller is under consideration to take the Ant-Man directing gig are not true. This contradicts yesterday’s report from Deadline that he was. Collider states that it can neither corroborate or refute the reportage that Michael Dowse is also being looked at by Marvel.
Who knows what the next twelve hours will bring?
At this rate, it will come down to a choice between Uwe Boll & Tommy Wiseau

Good job staying on top of this, Rich. Between Ant Man and the rumored feud with Fox, Marvel seems to be in disarray at the moment.
Shit, I’ll do it. I’ll shoot it in Austin for no budget, I’ll make it good enough to turn a profit. I’ll cast my middle schoolers in supporting roles. Come on Marvel, I’m next in line anyway.
I have no plans this summer. Just sayin’, Marvel.
