Set pictures have been coming fast and furious from the Star Wars: Episode VII production this week, with Monday bringing us photos from location shooting in Abu Dhabi and yesterday a batch of set construction photos revealing that the franchise’s most iconic starships will be making an appearance. And yesterday, I had to wonder of these pictures were indeed leaked, or if they made their way into the wilds of the internet with the full knowledge and approval of director JJ Abrams. Today, Abrams tweeted out his own picture that suggests if the previous leaks were not orchestrated by the production than he at least is showing a sense of humor about them.

Of course, even most casual Star Wars fans will tell you that Abrams’ note is resting on the Millennium Falcon‘s famed holographic chess board, first seen in the original 1977 film.
But does this signal the last of the set pics we’ll be seeing for a while? We may know the answer to that as early as tomorrow.
