“SNL” Takes An Hysterical Look At Casting 12 YEARS A SLAVE

IF you saw Oscar nominated 12 Years A Slave, than you may have spotted Saturday Night Live cast member Taran Killam in a small but pivotal role at the beginning of the film. And watching this prerecorded piece from last night’s show, one can’t help but wonder exactly how much of his experience informed the piece. Regardless, it’s a funny and insightful comment on how times have changed and how it might be hard for actors to portray the attitudes of those times.
