One of the most anticipated bits of news right now as to who will be in the cast for Disney’s upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII. Well, we don’t have the answer to that question yet, but we do know by when we should be getting that answer at the latest.
According to HitFix, principal photography on the film is scheduled to take place from mid-May through September of this year and that “most principal casting on the film is complete, with many announcements still to come.”
We do know with a fair amount of certainty that every who can come back from the original Star Wars trilogy will be coming back, from Mark Hammil, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford to Anthony Daniels and even Billy Dee Williams and Peter Mayhew.
As to who will be joining them? Well there’s a number of rumored candidates from over the several months – from Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael B. Jordan, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Jack O’Connell, Alex Pettyfer, Saoirse Ronan, Jesse Plemons, Michael Fassbender, Hugo Weaving, Adam Driver and even Dame Judi Dench, though we’re calling BS on that one.
It sounds as if time is running out on whom you should be placing your money on.
UGH why. It was always meant to be 6. Leave it alone. The story has been told
75 down, 2,000,037 to go…
;) I kid, I kid.
No Michelle, it was meant to be a trilogy of trilogies.
You’re probably not that far off Mike,
I think it depends on what day of the week Lucas was asked. He went through so many different iterations as how he saw the Big Picture.
Yeah, the “trilogy of trilogies” thing was something Lucas talked about eons ago. (Although I never even believed the trilogy thing either.)
Wasn’t that back when Leia was not “the other,” and Luke had to go looking for him/her?
