Doc MITT Looks At Candidate’s Failed Quest For Presidency

Although things are already starting to gear up for the 2016 presidential election, Netflix is giving us one last look back at 2012’s contest between incumbent President Barack Obama and challenger former Governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney. The documentary Mitt, which will premier at Sundance before being made available on the streaming service on January 24, is from director Greg Whiteley and gives us an insider look at the candidate’s life on the campaign trail.

Given six years worth of access to Romney, Whiteley charts the politician’s life from his first run at the White House in 2008 in which he never made it past the primaries to his candidacy in 2012. The result, going by the trailer below, looks as if it reveals a candidate far more human and relaxed than his campaign apparatus was ever able to do.
