Paul Walker, co-star of the Fast And the Furious street racing film series, died earlier today, Saturday, November 30, in a single-car accident in Southern California. He was 40.
According to reports, Walker was a passenger in a friend’s car on their way to a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide, in Santa Clarita, about 30 miles north of Hollywood to benefit victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Police stated that the car lost control and crashed. Both passengers were killed.
Although a working actor for several years, it wasn’t until 2001’s The Fast And The Furious, where Walker appeared as an LA police officer infiltrating a gang of street racers, that his career shot into the stratosphere. He appeared in five of the franchise’s six installments and was working on the series’ seventh film at the time of his death. Walker also appeared in a number of other films including Timeline (2003) and Flags Of our Fathers (2006).
Well there goes Timeline 2
Wow! That is a shame.
