Chris Pratt may be heading to Jurassic World. The actor, just coming off his shooting for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, is currently in early talks to headline director Colin Trevorrow’s fourth installment of the dinosaur theme park-gone-wrong Jurassic Park franchise.
If he signs on to the film, Pratt will star opposite the already cast Bryce Dallas Howard. Previously, Josh Brolin was in consideration for the role.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Pratt will be playing “a rugged ex-military man” against Howard’s “smart corporate scientist.”
Although best known for his role on the comedy series Parks & Recreation, Pratt film career is staged to take off when the high-profile Guardians Of The Galaxy hits theaters next year. If it is as big a hit as the rest of Marvel Studios’ comics-based properties than Trevorrow will have himself a hot box-office draw when Jurassic World heads to theaters in 2015.
