Simon Kinberg To Do “Overhaul” On The FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot’s Script

SimonKinbergBe afraid. Be very afraid.

The Hollywood Reporter is stating that Fox is calling on writer Simon Kinberg to substantially overhaul the script for the studio’s Fantastic Four reboot.

The script had previously made its way through the hands of Jeremy Slater, Michael Green, Seth Grahame-Smith and T.S. Nowlin before making its way to Kinberg.

Comic book film fans might be quite familiar with Kinberg. While he has had a number of hits to his credit, including Mr & Mrs. Smith and Sherlock Holmes, he also is responsible for what many consider one of the worst comic book films ever in X-Men: The Last Stand and one of the worst films overall in This Means War.

Add this to the fact that the reboot is scheduled for release on March 6,2015, we might just end up with an FF reboot that will be almost as bad as the first two FF films.

Developing.
