The fifth installment of Disney’s Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise apparently has a subtitle, and it is – Dead Men Tell No Tales.
The title comes from the film’s directors, Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, who divulged it in an interview with This Is infamous. No fourther information about the film’s story, being written by Jeff Nathanson was forthcoming, so feel free to speculate as to what we might be seeing when the film hits theaters on July 15, 2015*. To start that speculation, let’s remind you of the rumors that franchise producer Jerry Bruckheimer might be under a tighter reign from the studio than he usually is, thanks to the inordinately large financial flop that this summer’s The Lone Ranger was.
* Though given the franchise’s supernatural bent, I expect we may see some dead men telling tales.
