Not much is known about Cameron Crowe’s next film except that reportedly the tone is reminiscent of past Crowe films Almost Famous and Jerry Maguire. The writer/director has kept things well under wraps and no hint of the story has leaked out. What is known is that Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams and Danny McBride are all participating and it looks like Alec Baldwin will be joining their ranks.
Deadline is reprting that the 30 Rock star is in negotiations to appear in the film. Their report also states that for the foreseeable future, Baldwin is only looking for projects that will “square with his commitment to being a new dad.” This definitely matches up with his comments he recently made on Sirius-XM’s The Howard Stern Show that he declined a role in an unspecified Marvel movie because he wanted to be near his wife, who is currently in her last trimester with the couple’s first child.
No word yet as to when the project will go into production.
