You have to hand it to Fox and Bryan Singer, they have been extraordinarily savvy about promoting X-Men: Days of Future Past. From Singer’s tweets to their publicity grabbing inclusion of Quicksilver in the film to their surprise panel at San Diego Comic Con, the studio has hit all the right notes in marketing this film.
The latest is a Trask Industries website. Trask Industries is the corporation from the film started by Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) that produces the Sentinels. Sentinels are machines designed to protect humanity…by killing mutants.
If you click the above link, you’ll find a website that looks even better that many real websites for real corporations. It is filled with nooks and crannies of information that presents Trask’s desire to kill mutant because they are different in the most pleasing light as possible. It’s a pretty great website and an excellent form of viral marketing.
Below are some media you can find on the site, if you’re not in a clicking mood. X-Men: Days of Future Past opens on May 23, 2014.
