Whedon: I Don’t Care About Quicksilver Being In X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.

If you are waiting for the war of words to start between Marvel and 20th Century Fox over the latter announcing they were using Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past just after the character was confirmed to be part of Avengers 2, expect Joss Whedon to be a conscientious objector.

MTV Splash Page is covering an interview Joss Whedon did with Total Film. Of course, Avengers 2 came up and Quicksilver became a topic in that discussion. They asked Whedon if cared that Fox stole some of his Quicksilver thunder.

I don’t. I really, you know what, I’m doing my thing and I’m very excited about my thing.

Okay, not exactly the most verbose quote. But Whedon seems to have taken a very laid back approach to the subject, at least in public. Since he has never shied away from speaking his mind, he probably really isn’t all that concerned about Fox’s undercutting him. So put that in your pipe, Bryan Singer, and smoke it!
