When Optimus Prime and his fellow Transformers return for a fourth big screen adventure they won’t have just the evil Decepticons to contend with. Kelsey Grammer has been added to the film’s human cast playing the film’s flesh-and-blood bad guy.
According to Deadline, Grammer will be playing “Harold Attinger, a counter intelligence guy.”
Although best known for his genial Dr. Frasier Crane on Cheers and then its spinoff Frasier, Grammer has turned a far more sinister performance as a scheming politico on Showtime’s Boss, so playing a villain certainly doesn’t seem to be much of a stress. And his participation does manage to class up the project which I had not much interest in until now.
