There are lots of actors returning to the X-Men franchise for the upcoming X-Men: Days Of Future Past, but it looks like Jason Flemyng will not be one of them.
Speaking to the Irish newspaper The Independent, the actor who played evil mutant Azazel in 2011’s X-Men: First Class, that he won’t be back for the the next installment of the franchise scheduled to start shooting later this spring but he’s not too broken up by that.
I don’t think I will be back. Initially I was gutted, but then, I remembered I had to get up at two in the morning, I had to be painted red and be slightly out of focus and posed a lot, and that was sort of it. Now I don’t have to do that.
When the film does start shooting, director Bryan Singer will be welcoming James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence and former X-Men cast members Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen to the set.
