New releases: December 14, 2012

1. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (Warner Brothers, 4,045 Theaters, 169 Minutes, Rated PG-13): I don’t really have much to say about this film, at least not that I haven’t said in other places on the site at earlier times.

After all, either you know about this film and can’t wait for it to arrive so what I say here has no effect on you seeing the film, or you can’t stand it and wouldn’t go see it if they paid you so what I say here has no effect on you seeing the film.

I will use this space to direct you to FBOL editor-in-chief Rich Drees’ fair and balanced review of the film, so you can decide how excited to really be.
