Not everything that was revealed at San Diego Comic Con about Marvel Studio’s upcoming Iron Man 3 was done so at the panel for the film. Earlier in the day, at Marvel’s booth on the convention floor, they presented for a short time the new Mark VIII armor that Robert Downey Jr ‘s Tony Stark will be wearing in the film. So, what to make of the new paint job? Honestly, I’m a bit non-plussed by it. I’m not sure I really like the mustard yellow color that seems to dominate the color scheme. Perhaps there is some story reason for it looking this color? Does it somehow tie in with the film’s plot being heavily influenced by the Extremis Iron Man storyline? We’ll see.
