If there is any proof that GI Joe: Retaliation will be a much better film than its predecessor, it is the new theatrical trailer that has just been released. In the two-and-a-half minute clip below director Jon Chu shows that he has not only staged some epic action sequences, but has also constructed a story from the first film’s cliffhanger ending while rejecting its undercurrent of camp that undermined the movie as a whole.
